Anonymous Alumnus Donates 200 iPad Minis to 1st-Year Downstate Med Students
Downstate’s first-year medical students got a highly anticipated email Tuesday, September 20. The more than 200 iPad minis purchased by an anonymous Downstate alumnus for the entire class were ready to pick up in the Alumni Office. “It’s easier to pull stuff up for anatomy,” said med student, Vinny Sinatra, waiting to pick up one of the 7.9-inch, 32GB iPads. “You can put it in a Ziploc bag and take it to anatomy with you.
