Mark Newman, MD' 71
has published his 16th book entitled "Wild Africa" which is available on Amazon.
Howard Banner, MD' 78 was Chief of the Nuclear Medicine Service at VA New York Harbor consisting of the Manhattan and Brooklyn campuses for 30 years and has recently retired. He was also a faculty member at the NYU School of Medicine where he held an appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology. Prior to his retirement he received the Coin Award for his excellent service and contributions to the VA from Dr. Richard Stone the Executive in Charge, Veterans Health Administration (VHA).

Annie Miranda, MD' 96 sold her practice in 2016 and is now enjoying the lower stress life as a part time employee. Her adopted son Mason is now eight years old and thriving despite the pain of remote school. She is "wishing the pandemic was over."

Peter I. Jatlow, MD' 61
Peter I. Jatlow, M.D., 84, passed away at his home peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2020 after a long illness. Dr. Jatlow served as Chair of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at Yale School of Medicine from 1984-2006. Most recently, he was Professor Emeritus of, and Senior Research Scientist in, the Departments of Laboratory Medicine and Psychiatry.

Lisa R. Strober, MD' 68
STROBER MD, PhD Lisa R.
psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, died in the early evening on July 13, 2019 in hospice (Peppi's House) in Tucson, Arizona. Her death was caused by pancreatic carcinoma. She was 76 years old.
