Meet Your Future - Session 4 Recap

February 22nd was the fourth session of the Meet Your Future Speaker Series. This session features seven doctors from specialties such as Dr. Adam Rotunda, Dermatology, Dr. Alexea Gaffney-Adams, Infectious Diseases, and Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Dr. Alyson Myers, Endocrinology, Dr. Edward Allen, Family Medicine, Dr. Marika Fraser, Dermatology, Dr. Martine Sanon, Geriatrics and Dr. Fartania Brown in Hospice and Palliative Care. This session was rich and informative on the experience of these professions being in their respective fields. We encourage students to receive mentorship as part of their medical training because a good mentor can help you avoid many mistakes. After all, you are entering a new phase in your career once your graduate from Downstate. We all can use good counsel and connect with others who have been in the same position as you.
