The Alumni Association Appoints New President: Linda M. Nicoll, MD ’04

On May 18, 2019, Dr. Linda M Nicoll ‘04 became the President of the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine Alumni Association. She succeeds Michael T. Goldstein, MD’74, JD.

Dr. Nicoll is an obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery. She is a member of the faculty practice in gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center. Her office is in the heart of downtown Manhattan at the NYU Trinity Center near the World Trade Center.

She is the youngest president in the history of the Alumni Association and the second member of her family hold the position after her father, Dr. Daniel J. Nicoll ’72 who served from 2004-2005.

The Alumni Association would like to thank Dr. Goldstein for his outstanding work as President and we are excited to work with Dr. Nicoll in hopes of strengthening the organization’s mission.
